In the spirit of Aidilfitri, Affin Group’s short film ‘Kembali’ has made Malaysians laugh and cry at the same time.
The story, which follows two colleagues who make a trip back to their hometown for Raya, starts off comedic and light-hearted, but soon takes an unexpected turn.
You will need to watch it for yourself to see how the story unravels.
The film was directed by Shulz Ng from Buzzworks Films. “We wanted to create a Raya film that was fun and quirky, yet deep and meaningful. Our story brings a unique perspective to what love and family is all about.” said Shulz.
“The title ‘Kembali’ carries a dual meaning. Not only is it about revisiting your roots, but it’s also about repaying the kind souls who took care of you before you found your way.” she added.
