What is 2.5D photo animation you may ask? In a nutshell, it’s the process of using Photoshop and After Effects to take a basic high resolution image and bring it to life in a 2D workspace.
While producing a 60-second motion graphics launch video for our client, Cycle and Carriage Bintang Berhad, our team at Buzzworks decided to use 2.5D animation to turn a series of still photos as shown below into 3-second video frames that were incorporated into the launch video.
